ANDY COOPER
Especially regarded for the creativity he brings to solving business problems, Andy Cooper has developed the strategies and led the execution of corporate positioning campaigns, issue management programs, management and employee communications initiatives and product marketing efforts.

Career highlights include producing sales and management meetings for MetLife; launching the Answer Center and pioneering the use of infomercials for GE ; managing the AT&T; Olympic Torch Relay ; and leading the U.S. Treasury's new $100 bill introduction.

In his twenty-one years with Burson-Marsteller, he held numerous senior management positions, including Account Group Manager, Director of Creative Services, President of the New York office and Vice Chairman of the company. During this period he worked closely with senior executives from such organizations as ARAMARK, The Educational Testing Service, M&M;/Mars , Philip Morris and Warner-Lambert.

Mr. Cooper is a founding partner of CooperKatz & Company and holds a B.A. from Grinnell College and an M.S. from the Newhouse School at Syracuse University.

RALPH KATZ

Blending a creative marketing flair with strong systems and financial management, Ralph Katz has tackled some of the most complex projects and programs ever conceived for corporate America.

Career highlights include development and design of two DECWorld customer expositions for Digital Equipment Corporation; project leadership of the worldwide announcement of NYNEX's single brand strategy; and creative direction of multiple special events to celebrate the Bicentennial of the New York Stock Exchange .

For the majority of his eighteen-years with Burson-Marsteller, he headed the firm's highly regarded Creative Services unit, which produced meetings, events, films, videos and presentations of all kinds for clients such as Asea Brown Bovari, BellSouth, Chemical Bank, DuPont, Federal Express, Mercedes Benz, MetLife and Wendy's.

Prior to joining Burson-Marsteller, he spent five years as a media planner and supervisor for Ted Bates Advertising. He is a founding partner of CooperKatz & Company and holds a B.A. from Case Western Reserve University and an M.S. from the Newhouse School at Syracuse University.

TAMARA LAING

Bringing her enthusiastic, inventive and artistic spirit to CooperKatz & Company, Tamara Laing is the firm's first "recruit." Her experience includes special event and publicity planning and execution.

Previously, she worked as an account manager for the Media Distribution Services of Bacon’s Information, Inc. and as a marketing specialist with Enterprise Rent-A-Car.

To stretch creatively, she designs and markets whimsical handmade greeting cards. She is a graduate of Douglass College at Rutgers University with a B.A. in English.
