We’re proud to officially announce today that apparel manufacturer Garan Incorporated, a Berkshire Hathaway company, has retained CooperKatz as its public relations agency of record to promote Garanimals®, its iconic line of children’s clothing, shoes and toys sold exclusively at Walmart.
For children and parents of the 1970s and 80s, the Garanimals brand name evokes a flood of great memories. First launched in 1972, Garanimals revolutionized children's clothing with its innovative mix-and-match tagging system for young children. By pairing brightly colored tops and bottoms with their own recognizable characters, Garanimals makes it possible for parents to assemble great-looking and affordable matching outfits.
Our team is really excited to help ensure that both those familiar with Garanimals – as well as those families who are new to the brand – understand the fun, value and quality that are the hallmarks of each Garanimals product. We’ve already hit the ground running, staging a media “play date” at Dylan’s Candy Bar in New York City earlier this Spring for both reporters and bloggers, and sharing clothing samples with a number of outlets to be reviewed.
