Two Senior Professionals Join Digital Idea, a New Internet Consulting Firm
Westport, CT (February 7, 2000) Digital Idea, a new Internet consulting firm based in Westport, Connecticut, announced that Patti McKinley, a long-time Grey Advertising executive, and Peter Propp, formerly an e-commerce and business development manager at IBM, have recently joined the firm as managing directors.
Digital Idea, which guarantees measurable e-business results for its clients, will focus on providing fact-based, consumer-driven insights and strategic advice grounded in extensive marketing and business experience. The firm was launched in November, 1999, by Greenfield Consulting Group, Inc., the nations leading qualitative research consultancy. Peter Mackey, formerly a Greenfield Consulting Group managing director, is Digital Ideas president.
Patti McKinley Managing Director of Client Services
Patti McKinley joined Digital Idea as managing director for client services spearheading strategic marketing, qualitative and quantitative research, and consulting initiatives. She was previously vice president of brand planning and research at Grey Advertising, Inc. During her nearly 15 years at Grey, Patti worked with a wide variety of clients, leading marketing and research activities both in the online and traditional environments. Clients included Procter & Gamble, Kraft Foods (General Foods division), autobytel.com, Novartis, Glaxo Wellcome, Oracle, Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC), and Dow Corning. Prior to Grey, Patti held positions at DMBB and BBDO, both global advertising companies. She is 44 years old and resides in Mamaroneck, New York.
Peter Propp Managing Director, Technology & Implementation
Peter Propp joins Digital Idea with strong Internet and technology credentials. His most recent position was with IBM as worldwide business development manager, IBM WebSphere Software. Prior to that he held business development positions in the IBM Internet Division and with IBM Global Services. Before joining IBM, Peter worked in marketing and public relations at a variety of companies including Advantage International Sports Marketing, Hill & Knowlton, Inc., and Creamer Dickson Basford. He is 37 years old and resides in Westport, Connecticut, with his wife and two children.
With the addition of these two senior executives, Digital Idea is broadening the depth and breadth of its expertise.
