PR Week names Anne Green among the world’s most influential PR leaders in its 2015 Global Power Book. In a Q&A, Green shares her thoughts on the biggest challenge and opportunity facing the industry and reveals her favorite fictional PR character.
PR Week has named CooperKatz CEO, Anne Green, to its list of the world’s most influential PR professionals in the 2015 Global Power Book. Anne joins more than 300 agency and in-house leaders worldwide that are making a difference throughout the industry.
In the Q&A accompanying the story, Green cites the single biggest challenge facing PR today as “responding to [the] radically integrated marketing / business marketplace and determining the optimal strategy, approach, capabilities, and configuration for an independent agency to remain relevant and competitive.” Further, Green reflected that this same trend “brings tremendous opportunity to expand the breadth of our work and impact.”
Green’s profile also reveals her literary roots. When asked about her favorite fictional PR character, she cited Dr. John Watson of Conan Doyle’s Sherlock Holmes series, whose chronicling of their adventures was “the best PR any consulting detective could hope for – and certainly kept business coming through the door.”
