CooperKatz just got the news that our Zipcar account team has won the 2009 SABRE Award for ‘Media Placement: Magazine’!
The Bronze SABRE, part of the awards program sponsored by The Holmes Report, was awarded for CK’s work in securing a September 14, 2009 Fortune magazine cover story (appearing in late August on the Web) titled “Zipcar: The Best New Idea in Business.”
The article highlighted Zipcar’s disruptive business model, game-changing technology platform and introduced CEO Scott Griffith as a thought leader in the transportation space and an innovator in the new paradigm that is car sharing. The team’s entry was selected from among more than 1,600 submitted for this year’s North American awards competition.
The CK team will join fellow honorees for recognition at the SABRE Awards dinner in New York on May 11, 2010. More about the SABREs can be found here.
