Everyone at CooperKatz is thrilled by our recent wins at the 2014 Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Silver Anvil ceremony!
Our agency took home the prestigious Silver Anvil Award, as well as a Silver Anvil Award of Excellence, from the ceremony held on June 12 in New York City.
We received the 2014 Silver Anvil Award for our “Alliance to Advance Patient Nutrition” campaign in the “Public Service: Partnership” category. The Alliance recognized an urgent need to ensure that nutrition therapy is a critical component of patient care. In May 2013, Abbott partnered with four leading healthcare organizations to launch the Alliance to Advance Patient Nutrition: the Academy of Medical-Surgical Nurses (AMSN), the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND), the American Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (A.S.P.E.N.) and the Society of Hospital Medicine (SHM).This interdisciplinary partnership united with a common goal: to improve patient outcomes through nutrition intervention. The campaign resulted in more than 30 million impressions, more than 104,500 page views on the newly-launched malnutrition.com, 130-plus Alliance-member articles, e-blasts and social media posts, and qualitative evidence of hospitals beginning to implement the recommended nutrition intervention protocols from the Alliance.
CooperKatz also received the 2014 Silver Anvil Award of Excellence for the “Owning the Banking Experience – TD Bank’s Mission to Understand and Deliver What Matters Most to Consumers”campaign in the “Marketing Consumer Services: Financial Services” category. Recognizing the importance of truly understanding consumers’ needs and wants in the banking industry, TD Bank set out to explore what motivates their banking behaviors. TD and CooperKatz worked together to build a campaign around owning the consumer banking experience across both checking and mortgage products. These results included more than 100 million total media impressions, as well as more than 1.3 million new checking accounts and an 8 percent increase in mortgage originations for 2013.
“By winning our profession’s most esteemed award, the Silver Anvil, CooperKatz joins an exclusive group of professionals whose work exhibits outstanding achievement in the public relations industry,” said PRSA 2014 National Chair Joe Cohen, APR. “The Silver Anvils are our profession’s most prestigious awards, recognizing the accomplishments that demonstrate public relations as indispensable and integral to business planning, strategy and success.”
“The Silver Anvil Award is a coveted and highly-regarded representation of creative and strategic thinking among public relations professionals,” said Ralph Katz, co-founder and principal of CooperKatz. “We are honored to be presented with both of these awards, as they recognize the types of innovative and high-impact campaigns we conceive and execute for our clients.”
