Fresh Faces is a series on our blog in which we introduce new members of the CooperKatz team. In this post, get to know our new account coordinator, Jess Savarese!

Where did you go to school and what did you study?

I graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and a minor in International Studies.

What made you go into PR?

I’ve been an avid writer for as long as I can remember, and I love having the ability to get creative in telling a brand’s story through news campaigns and working with the media.

What do you like most about CooperKatz so far?

Everyone in the office makes the job a fun place to be! I can always count on each person to help me with projects. The supportive environment makes even the most challenging work much easier to handle.

What is one of your favorite things to do in New York City?

One of my favorite hobbies is running, and I love how New York City has so many different routes for me to try and explore new neighborhoods. My favorite area is along the East River, with Central Park coming in at a close second.

What is one of your favorite TV shows or movies and why do you love it?

A go-to movie for me is Bridesmaids. It never seems to get old no matter how many times I’ve watched it, and Kristen Wiig is hilarious.

Tell us a “fun fact” about you.

I’m always up for trying new adventures. When I studied abroad in Barcelona last year, my friend and I made a spur-of-the-moment decision to go skydiving while we were on vacation in Lagos, Portugal. It was such a cool experience, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone who’s ever considered trying it.
