As an account supervisor at CooperKatz & Company, Lesley Neadel plays a lead role on several client account teams. She drives strategy for the corporate, national and local public relations initiatives of Zipcar, the world’s largest car sharing provider. She supervises ongoing public relations efforts for the ANA (Association of National Advertisers) and supports their various conferences and forums throughout the year. Ms. Neadel also shapes social media outreach strategies for MSN and is an integral part of the CooperKatz Cogence® team counseling clients on effective social media outreach.
Since joining CooperKatz in June 2002, Ms. Neadel has participated in the planning and execution of numerous special events and communications programs. Past CooperKatz experiences include ongoing public relations support for Waterfront Media and Everydayhealth.com, VEET Depilatories, WeatherBug, Flip.com and ShopVogue.TV; Carrier Corporation’s 100th anniversary of the invention of modern air conditioning; the Civic Alliance to Rebuild Downtown New York’s ‘Listening to the City’ town hall event; Canon’s Annual Celebrity Golf Challenge; France Telecom media relations; Otis Elevator Corporation’s 150th anniversary of the safety elevator; and the launch of the Otis NextStep escalator.
Prior to joining CooperKatz, Ms. Neadel interned at PR21 in New York where she worked with clients such as Johnson & Johnson’s Clean & Clear, Fossil and Whirlpool. She also supported teams in the not-for-profit and the new media groups, such as the Music For Youth Foundation and the New York New Media Association accounts.
Ms. Neadel holds a bachelor of science degree in public relations from Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications.
