Maria Martinez joins CooperKatz with marketing/public relations experience in the travel industry and nonprofit sector. At CooperKatz, she serves as an account executive on the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC), Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, Zipcar and MSN account teams.
Prior to joining CooperKatz, Ms. Martinez worked as both a public relations/marketing intern and research assistant at the University of Florida. Her responsibilities included announcing major contributions to the University, supporting its capital campaign and researching healthcare issues affecting the U.S. Hispanic community.
In addition to her public relations experiences, Ms. Martinez has a strong background in the tourism industry, having worked for Alamo Homes Group, a company that specializes in marketing vacation homes and other real estate properties.
Ms. Martinez holds a bachelor’s degree in public relations with two minors in communication studies and business administration from the University of Florida. |
