Roberto Lebron

During his 15-year career in corporate communications and product marketing, Roberto Lebron has led award-winning marketing programs at several innovative companies, including international all-premium carrier Eos Airlines and global imaging technology leader Canon.

In his role as Director, Client Services at CooperKatz & Company, Mr. Lebron oversees the agency’s work for Polar, an industry leader in health and fitness assessment technology, and The Partnership for a Drug Free America, a leading nonprofit organization that unites parents, renowned scientists and communications professionals to help families raise healthy children. He has also supported the agency’s work for Teliris, an industry leader in telepresence systems, and Zipcar, the world’s largest and fastest growing car sharing service.

At Eos Airlines, Mr. Lebron led the corporate communications program, managing multiple agencies based in the U.K. and U.S. His initiatives generated widespread coverage in broadcast, print and online media outlets and garnered prestigious industry recognition, including: the 2007 PRSA Big Apple Award for Best Marketing and Consumer Services Campaign – Travel, Tourism, and Hospitality; and a 2006 Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International (HSMAI) Award for New Opening in the Airline/Transportation category. In addition to his marketing PR efforts, Mr. Lebron also developed a crisis communications plan as a vital component of the Eos emergency response manual.

At Canon U.S.A., Mr. Lebron headed the public relations and industry analyst outreach efforts for all consumer, business-to-business and industrial product categories within the $10B company. During the critical transition of the company’s technologies from analog to digital, he successfully developed integrated branding campaigns and experiential events with The New York Yankees, National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), Audi of America, U.S. Open Tennis, The National Football League (NFL) and PGA Tour. He is also a recipient of The Canon Spirit Award – President’s Circle of Recognition, which honors the outstanding contributions of employees worldwide.

Mr. Lebron holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism from Boston University and a Master of Business Administration degree from St. John’s University.
