As an account intern with CooperKatz & Company, Sarah Osewalt provides support to a variety of clients including TowerGroup, a research and advisory firm focused on the global financial services industry, Piaggio USA, the manufacturer of Vespa® motorscooters, and Mind Body New York, an integrative medical facility that combines complementary and conventional forms of care.
Ms. Osewalt currently attends Hunter College, majoring in English with a minor in sociology. Her expected date of graduation is June 2006. She is a Thomas Hunter Honors Scholar, a Peter Vallone Scholar, and a Jeannette K. Watson Fellow.
During her first summer as a Watson Fellow, Ms. Osewalt interned at Children’s PressLine, a non-profit organization that focuses on training young people ages 8-18 to be journalists that advocate for children around the world. Her primary responsibility as briefing coordinator was to assist young journalists in their coverage of the Republican National Convention by arranging interviews and information sessions with politicians, members of the media, and representatives of non-profit groups.
