With 10 years of experience in consumer and business-to-business communications, Abby Trexler utilizes her diverse background to achieve strategic results for her clients. In her role as manager, client services at CooperKatz, she leads public relations programs for Siegel+Gale and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).

Prior to joining CooperKatz, Abby combined agency and in-house experience to build a blend of corporate communication capabilities. She successfully executed a variety of campaigns ranging from new food and beverage introductions for Starbucks, to internal corporate social responsibility campaigns for Brightpoint, Inc., a publicly traded wireless logistics provider. She also executed media, awards and speaking strategies for Jack Morton Worldwide, working with teams from Hyundai, Thomson Reuters and General Motors.

Currently, Abby serves on the board for the New York chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) and on the integrated communications committee of New York Women in Communications, Inc. (NYWICI). She is a 2002 graduate of Xavier University with a bachelor's degree in public relations and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in corporate communication from Johns Hopkins University.

 

Marcus Hardy

Marcus Hardy joined CooperKatz with experience supporting the public relations initiatives of both corporate and non-profit clients. He currently serves as an account coordinator on the Association of National Advertisers, DialAmerica and Gap International account teams. Previously, as an intern at CooperKatz, Marcus supported DialAmerica, The Physicians Foundation and Siegel+Gale.

Before joining CooperKatz, Marcus was heavily involved with Bradley Public Relations at Brigham Young University, PRSSA’s first nationally affiliated, student-run firm. While at Bradley, Marcus served as an account executive and account director, leading large research initiatives for clients such as the Utah Department of Transportation and Provo City. Later, while serving as Bradley’s director of internal communications, Marcus revitalized Bradley’s web presence and oversaw communication and IT needs for Bradley’s 70-plus students. He also facilitated production of Brigham Young University’s 2012 PR Program of the Year entry.

Marcus along with his capstone public relations course team created a strategic communications campaign for the Family Support and Treatment Center – an abuse prevention, treatment and education facility located in Orem, Utah. He also supported the Utah Valley Symphony’s communications efforts during its 2010-2011 concert season and wrote for Brigham Young University’s student run newspaper, The Daily Universe.

Marcus holds a bachelor’s degree in Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations from Brigham Young University, where he also earned a minor in Political Science.

As a senior account executive at CooperKatz & Company, Heather Caufield provides strategic, tactical and creative support for the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Otis Elevator Company and Polar, the leader in heart rate monitoring and fitness assessment technologies. Heather brings strategic insight, an eye for detail and creative thinking to her work and views public relations as a key tool in helping her clients achieve their business objectives.

Prior to joining CooperKatz, Heather worked at The Rosen Group with several nonprofit organizations and trade associations, including the American Wind Energy Association (AWEA); the James Beard Foundation, the world’s foremost nonprofit culinary arts organization; and the Brewers Association, dedicated to small and independent American craft brewers. She also handled media outreach and logistics for events including the 2009 Green Inaugural Ball, AWEA’s WINDPOWER Conference & Exhibition and James Beard Foundation fundraising events.

Heather graduated with honors from Fordham University where she earned a B.A. in Communications and Media Studies.

Kelsey Thompson

Kelsey Thompson brings experience in media, business and marketing communications to her role on the CooperKatz team. She currently serves as an account coordinator supporting Otis Elevator Company; The Physicians Foundation, a nonprofit organization that seeks to advance the work of practicing physicians and improve the quality of health care for all Americans; and The Guardian Life Small Business Research Institute, an intellectual resource devoted to better understanding America’s small business owners. 

Prior to joining CooperKatz, Kelsey served as the business manager of The Daily Collegian, Pennsylvania State University’s student-run newspaper. She was responsible for overseeing an annual budget of $1.4 million while managing approximately 100 staff members in the customer service, sales, promotions, creative and layout departments. Under her direction, the team developed successful business partnerships with Best Buy and Greater Philadelphia Media and increased yearly net gain by $30,000 above original projections.

In addition, Kelsey spent two years as an account associate with Happy Valley Communications, Penn State’s student-run PR firm. She worked with clients from the governmental, non-profit and business sectors, supporting execution for media relations, event planning and social media initiatives. She and her team were responsible for securing media placements in local and statewide publications as well as organizing a professional demo day event that attracted investors from Silicon Valley, Boston and New York.

Kelsey holds a bachelor’s degree in advertising / public relations with a minor in political science from Pennsylvania State University.

Antonia Caamaño

As an account supervisor at CooperKatz & Company, Antonia manages account activities and provides strategic counsel to clients such as the Digital Advertising Alliance, a self-regulatory body that develops industry best practices and effective solutions for consumer choice in online behavioral advertising and DialAmerica, one of the nation's largest teleservices companies.

She brings with her a decade of diverse public relations experience serving clients in the financial services, insurance, management consulting, real estate and jewelry industries, among others. A skilled bi-lingual communicator (English and Spanish), Antonia has a deep understanding of effective media strategy/placement and social media engagement.

Previously at Stanton Public Relations & Marketing, she was responsible for driving targeted top-tier national media placements for clients such as Protiviti® and The Princeton Review. Prior to Stanton, she served as account supervisor at Beckerman Public Relations and manager of public relations at Platinum Guild International U.S.A., the worldwide marketing arm for the platinum jewelry industry. At Platinum Guild, she developed and managed a national public relations campaign with strategically developed trade and consumer communications programs and extensive media outreach efforts.

In her spare time she has volunteered for the Liberty Humane Society, a non-profit organization dedicated to finding loving homes for stray and orphaned pets, providing medical care for injured animals and raising awareness for the plight of homeless dogs and cats in Jersey City, N.J.

Antonia holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and communication from The College of New Jersey, and a graduate degree in communication and information studies from Rutgers University.

Matthew Panichas

Matthew Panichas brings a background in both media and government relations to his role as account executive at CooperKatz. Currently, he provides counsel and support on corporate media relations, public affairs and brand positioning campaigns for Otis Elevator Company, the world’s leading manufacturer, installer and maintainer of elevators, escalators and moving walkways; and Physicians Foundation, a nonprofit organization that seeks to advance the work of practicing physicians and improve the quality of healthcare for all Americans.

Prior to joining CooperKatz, Matt worked at the New York office of global advertising firm, BBH (Bartle Bogle Hegarty), where he handled a variety of account management and strategic planning tasks. He has also previously interned at the National Cable and Telecommunications Association (NCTA) and NBC’s “Meet the Press” in Washington, DC..

Matt holds a master’s degree in Media and Public Affairs from George Washington University, with a focus on global public diplomacy.

 

Jessica Chen

Jessica Chen brings both in-house and agency marketing communications experience to the CooperKatz team. She currently serves as an account coordinator supporting Coldwell Banker Real Estate LLC, Jackson Hewitt Tax Service; the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), the world’s leading advocate of fire prevention and public safety; and Gap International, a global management consulting company. 

Jessica has worked across a number of areas including consumer brands, entertainment and the arts, publishing, social media and pharmaceutical healthcare. Before joining CooperKatz, Jessica was a consumer events and production intern at Edelman, where she helped organize key events for such clients as eBay, Trojan, Starbucks and USS New York.  Most recently, she was a public relations social media research assistant at Penn State’s College of Communications, analyzing Wikipedia entries and monitoring Twitter streams to evaluate organizational communications in the digital realm.  In addition to her work in social media and event planning, Jessica served as a special programs intern at the Center for Performing Arts at Penn State, a beauty/editorial intern at Wenner Media’s Us Weekly and a meeting planning intern at Organon USA.

Jessica holds a bachelor’s degree in public relations with a minor in sociology from the Pennsylvania State University, where she served as the advertising / public relations commencement marshal.

Dianne Falaguerra

As an account supervisor at CooperKatz, Dianne Falaguerra provides strategic, tactical and creative support for Coldwell Banker Real Estate LLC, management consulting firm Gap International and Otis Elevators.

Dianne has a diverse background in communications and has provided public relations support for clients in real estate, hospitality and healthcare. Before joining CooperKatz, Dianne worked in healthcare and pharmaceutical public relations. Most recently, she was a senior account executive at Medical Dynamics, where she drove offline and online public relations and social media campaigns for Mederma® skin care products. Her experience in real estate comes from her work at Solomon McCown & Company, a strategic communications agency in Boston, where her accounts included real estate investment firms, developers and hotels.

Before beginning her career in public relations, Dianne was a television news reporter for KDRV/KDKF NewsWatch 12 in Southern Oregon.

Dianne graduated from Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications with a duel degree in Broadcast Journalism and International Relations.

Leslie Stahl

Leslie Stahl joined CooperKatz with communications experience in both the agency and non-profit arenas. She currently serves as an account executive on the teams supporting Siegel+Gale, a leading strategic branding firm; Polar USA, the leader in heart rate monitoring and fitness assessment technologies; and Kroll Bond Rating Agency, a Nationally Recognized Statistical Rating Organization.

Prior to joining CooperKatz, Leslie interned with Euro RSCG Worldwide PR in the Pittsburgh, PA, office. There she conducted qualitative research on social media monitoring platforms to provide her colleagues with insights on optimal tools for managing and engaging in the social media space.

Leslie served as a communications intern at The Second Mile in State College, PA, a non-profit organization serving the youth of Pennsylvania. She generated news coverage for the organization by preparing and disseminating press releases announcing fundraisers, events and camps. She also compiled and designed a complimentary guide for one of the organization’s outreach programs that is distributed to schoolteachers and counselors throughout Pennsylvania.

In addition to her communications work, Leslie also brings experience in sales and marketing to CooperKatz. From 2008-2010, Leslie worked in the sales department of The Daily Collegian, Penn State’s daily newspaper. As the 2009-2010 advertising manager, she overhauled the bi-annual training program to better prepare her staff and supervised 25 account executives who brought in over $700,000 in revenue for the organization.

Leslie holds a B.A. in advertising/public relations and a B.S. in marketing from the Pennsylvania State University, with a minor in international business. In the fall of 2008, Leslie studied at the Cass Business School at City University London in England.

Julia Bayer

With experience on both the client and agency sides of the business, Julia Bayer leverages her training in design as well as in marketing and psychology to solve client challenges and develop compelling creative work. At CooperKatz, she serves as a graphic designer supporting CK Productions and account teams from across the agency.

Prior to joining CooperKatz, Julia worked as a Junior Graphic Designer for Paul, Weiss LLP. There she helped to implement new branding standards across a wide variety of marketing collateral, presentations and internal materials by developing sophisticated visuals and layouts. She also created displays and managed the company’s Green Initiative event. Previously, Julia has held internships with Tammy Hines Design in Connecticut and Vector Media in New York.

Julia earned bachelor’s degrees in both graphic design communications and psychology, in addition to a minor in marketing, from Roger Williams University in Rhode Island.

Luna Newton

Luna Newton joins CooperKatz with experience in strategic planning and public relations in the areas of consumer products and financial services. At CooperKatz, she serves as a senior account executive providing tactical and creative support for the Association of National Advertisers (ANA), Grinnell College of Grinnell, Iowa, Petfinder.com and Physicians Foundation, a nonprofit organization that seeks to advance the work of practicing physicians and improve the quality of healthcare for all Americans.

Prior to joining CooperKatz, Luna served as a communications lead for Dapple Baby, where she managed retail accounts in the juvenile products industry across North America. She has experience providing support for major PR campaigns, developing effective vendor relationships and contributing to the growth of a successful brand. Luna also has experience developing online forums for product promotion and managing social media networks.

Previously, Luna served as a Brand Representative for Diageo, where she helped implement marketing plans for International Shoppes Duty Free. In London, Luna served as Marketing/PR intern for a design firm, where she evaluated media outlets and industry trends based on UK market reports. She also interned at HSBC, where she assisted in developing key accounts.

 Luna holds a master’s degree from The London School of Economics. She earned her bachelor’s degree from The George Washington University, and participated in a study abroad program at the University of Oxford.
Jamie Bezozo

Jamie Bezozo joined CooperKatz with a public relations background in the areas of sports, non-profit, event coordination and social media. At CooperKatz, she serves as an account executive on the Sarah Lawrence College; Digital Advertising Alliance, a self-regulatory body that develops industry best practices and effective solutions for consumer choice in online behavioral advertising; and the Alzheimer’s Drug Discovery Foundation teams.

Prior to joining CooperKatz, Jamie worked as the communications intern for the Major League Baseball Players Association in New York where she handled day-to-day national media relations and marketing communications activities. She also supported the licensing and legal teams as well as the charitable arm of the association, the Players Trust. Her work helped increased enrollment in and media exposure for the MLBPA’s national non-profit organization, The Action Team.

Preceding her internship at the MLBPA, Jamie served as media director of a successful public relations campaign for the State College Red Cross. Additionally, she has held internships in public relations and marketing for companies including Nonpretentious, Metrofunk and Baltimore’s Best Events. Jamie holds a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations from Penn State University, with a minor in International Studies.

Evan Jordan

Evan Jordan has a public relations background in both the technology and non-profit sectors. At CooperKatz, he currently serves as an account executive on the Coldwell Banker Real Estate LLC, Grinnell College of Grinnell, Iowa and Jackson Hewitt Tax Service teams.

Evan came to CooperKatz from Mozy, an EMC company, where he worked on public relations initiatives for both consumer and business offerings. While at Mozy, he identified and interviewed customers to be featured in media stories, newsletters, radio advertisements and promotional materials. He also monitored and analyzed public sentiment based on conversations occurring on such social media platforms as Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and blogs.

Prior to Mozy, Evan volunteered with the More Good Foundation and Monte L. Bean Life Science Museum. During both experiences, he developed strategies and tactics to bring further exposure to these organizations’ brands.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations from Brigham Young University, where he also worked as a journalist for the school newspaper and earned a minor in Business Management. 

Shoshana Hochdorf

Shoshana Hochdorf joined CooperKatz with a public relations background in the areas of consumer marketing, healthcare and non-profit. At CooperKatz, she is an account executive on the ANA (Association of National Advertisers), Coldwell Banker Real Estate LLC and The Guardian Life Insurance Company of America account teams.

Prior to joining CooperKatz, Shoshana served as an intern at Porter Novelli in its New York office. As the intern for the National Media Relations Team, she provided support for a wide variety of Porter Novelli clients including Gillette and Lysol’s Hygiene Council. As team coordinator for the Summer internship project, she organized her fellow interns in creating and presenting a program supporting a healthcare offering addressing the issue of low health literacy in the United States. 
 
Prior to her work at Porter Novelli, Shoshana served as an events and promotions intern at the Margaret Mitchell House and Museum in Atlanta and as a publications intern for Plan Your Meetings magazine by Atlanta Metropolitan Publishing. Shoshana holds a bachelor’s degree in public relations from the University of Florida.
Rachael Adler

In her role as director, client services at CooperKatz, Rachael Adler leads the public relations efforts for the Guardian Life Small Business Research Institute, an intellectual resource devoted to better understanding America’s small business owners; Physicians Foundation, a nonprofit organization that seeks to advance the work of practicing physicians and improve the quality of healthcare for all Americans; and Gap International, a global management consulting company. 

Her other recent work included heading the strategic direction and public relations execution for Noblis Health Innovation, a non-profit advisory firm to health providers; TowerGroup, a research and advisory services firm focused on the global financial services industry; and The National Children's Study, a federal research project focused on the impact of environmental factors on child health and development.
 
Earlier at CooperKatz, Rachael managed Capgemini Health's highly-successful speakers bureau program; lead PR efforts on behalf of U.S. Preventive Medicine, a company working to advance a culture of prevention throughout America; helped to introduce Triomega, a marine-based omega-3 dietary supplement, in the U.S. market; spearheaded the launch program for Mind Body New York, an integrative medical practice in Manhattan; and supported the 150th anniversary of the invention of the safety elevator and the launch of the NextStep escalator, both on behalf of Otis Elevator Corporation.
Previously at Hadassah, a non-profit organization, Rachael implemented integrated marketing campaigns to promote study abroad programs in Israel. Her work there included driving public relations, advertising, collateral materials, interactive and direct mail initiatives. She also developed crisis communication strategies to increase the North American public's awareness of safety and security measures concerning Hadassah's youth programs. Earlier in her career, Rachael worked at the National Multiple Sclerosis Society in the special events department.
 
She holds a bachelor's degree in communications from Pennsylvania State University.
Michael Katz

Michael Katz brings experience across a wide range of creative disciplines to his role at CooperKatz, where he works as an assistant producer, designer and traffic/ production coordinator supporting the entire creative/production group.

Prior to joining CooperKatz, Michael worked as a production assistant for two film companies. After joining Nice Shoes Productions in New York City in 2002, he was promoted to head of traffic, where he managed a staff of six and was responsible for the tracking of all jobs moving in and out of the company. Following completion of a six-month comprehensive post-production course, he became an online editorial assistant, where his responsibilities included design assistance, video encoding and working as a liaison with clients.

Michael received his bachelor's degree in psychology from Union College in Schenectady, NY. During college he served as a resident assistant, a DJ for the college radio station and played on the college baseball team.

Meredith Topalanchik

In my office, I have a framed journal entry from my senior year in high school. An excerpt says, ‘I’ll tell you – everyone should be happy.  I’m going into public relations – it’s my biz!!’ So I guess you could say that I always knew that public relations was for me.

With 13 years of experience in consumer product and business-to-business communications, Meredith Topalanchik combines a passion for media and client relations with a strong creative voice. In her role as vice president / director, client services at CooperKatz, she leads public relations programs for Coldwell Banker Real Estate LLC and provides strategic leadership for the account teams supporting Polar, the leader in heart rate monitoring and fitness assessment technologies and the Association of National Advertisers (ANA). She also supports the agency's CK Digital practice which helps clients develop and execute effective social media and digital strategies.

Her previous experience at CooperKatz includes driving a broad range of initiatives for Petfinder.com, National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), MSN.com, Piaggio USA (manufacturer of the iconic Vespa® motor scooter), ShopVogue.TV, flip.com, WeatherBug, Invest Northern Ireland and Virgin Mobile USA.

Prior to joining CooperKatz, Meredith spent five years at Freeman Public Relations. There, she successfully executed a variety of campaigns ranging from new toy introductions to special events for clients such as Fisher-Price, Rubbermaid Tough Tools, Strait-Line Electronic Tools and Jeep Consumer Products. She also executed strategic programs and launch events for Staples, The Home Depot, MasterCard and Pitney Bowes while at Alan Taylor Communications.

Currently, Meredith serves on the board for the Penn State College of Communications Ad/PR Affiliate Program Group (APG). She is a member of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) and serves on the mentoring committee of the PRSA NY Chapter. She has also spoken on panels for the Council of Public Relations Firms. Meredith is a 1999 graduate of the Pennsylvania State University College of Communications with a bachelor's degree in advertising / public relations.

 

Melissa Connerton

Melissa Connerton brings to her role at CooperKatz & Company a strong background in leading communications initiatives for business-to-business, consumer products and healthcare accounts. As a manager, client services, she heads strategic planning and execution for a diverse range of clients. These currently include Jackson Hewitt Tax Service, Grinnell College, Northern Arizona University and Sarah Lawrence College.

During her tenure at CooperKatz, she has also managed programs for wireless provider Virgin Mobile USA; the Association of National Advertisers (ANA); national quick service restaurant chain, Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen; online ad network and technology provider, Collective Media; digital publishing media venture Next Issue Media; the Advertising Research Foundation; global email marketing provider Emailvision; the healthcare division of Tefen USA, an international management consulting firm; and the Alzheimer’s Drug Discovery Foundation.

Prior to joining CooperKatz, Melissa served as senior account executive at CKPR (formerly Nichol & Company), where she played a key role on the GlaxoSmithKline and MeadWestvaco account teams. Before that, she worked as senior publicist for the 92nd Street Y, a renowned Manhattan institution specializing in arts, culture and community programming. During her tenure there, she generated local, national and international print, broadcast and online media coverage for the center's lectures, dance performances, parenting programs and more.

Earlier in her career, Melissa worked for Middleberg & Associates, where she helped to launch the American Express Blue card and assisted with media relations and corporate positioning for financial and business-to-business clients.

She holds a bachelor's degree in English from Smith College and a master's degree in English from Boston College.

Maria Martinez

In addition to her current clients, Maria previously handled public relations planning and execution for a variety of companies in the consumer and business-to-business sectors. She supported Zipcar’s regional efforts and more than 120 university markets; the National Association of Insurance Commissioners; Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen; Jackson Hewitt Tax Services; and The Partnership for a Drug-Free America, in which she targeted both English and Spanish-speaking media outlets. Maria also built strong digital capabilities with her work on MSN, focusing on building their social media presence and relationships with key bloggers.  

Prior to joining CooperKatz, Maria worked as both a public relations/marketing intern and research assistant at the University of Florida. Her responsibilities included announcing major contributions to the University, supporting its capital campaign and researching healthcare issues affecting the U.S. Hispanic community. In addition to her public relations experiences, Maria has a strong background in the tourism industry, having worked for Alamo Homes Group, a company that specializes in marketing vacation homes and other real estate properties.

As a manager, client services at CooperKatz, Lesley Neadel oversees ongoing public relations efforts for the ANA (Association of National Advertisers), supporting its many conferences and forums throughout the year – including their largest, the ANA Annual Conference – as well as promoting the organization’s research, insights and thought leadership. She also leads the teams for BrightLine iTV, bringing interactive television to the forefront of marketers’ minds, and DialAmerica,one of the nation's largest teleservices companies.  

Since joining CooperKatz in June 2002, Lesley has participated in the planning and execution of a wide range of special events and communications programs. Her varied experiences include: supporting Zipcar both nationally and locally; driving social media strategy and execution for MSN.com; launching NextIssueMedia and Waterfront Media's Everydayhealth.com; leading new product introductions for VEET Depilatories; promoting technology and school education programs for WeatherBug; launching Flip.com and ShopVogue.TV for Condé Nast; helping Carrier Corporation celebrate the 100th anniversary of the invention of air conditioning and Otis Elevator Corporation celebrate the 150th anniversary of the invention of the safety elevator; and promoting the Civic Alliance to Rebuild Downtown New York's 'Listening to the City' town hall event, focused on rebuilding in the wake of 9/11.

As manager, client services at CooperKatz, Kathleen Reynolds provides strategic, tactical, video, digital and events support for Coldwell Banker Real Estate LLC; Polar, the leader in heart rate monitoring and fitness assessment technologies; and Gap International, a global management consulting company.

Kathleen combines targeted media outreach with strong creative insights to achieve optimal client results. She is instrumental in the conception and production of many clients’ video initiatives and is an experienced facilitator of media training sessions. She also develops digital strategies to help clients identify and engage online audiences.

In addition to her current clients, Kathleen previously implemented public relations campaigns for: Piaggio USA, the manufacturer for Vespa® motor scooters and Moto Guzzi® motorcycles; the Philadelphia Eagles; ASCAP (the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers); Figure Skating in Harlem; Virgin Mobile USA; and HowStuffWorks.com.

Prior to joining CooperKatz, Kathleen worked at Rogers & Cowan Entertainment Marketing. There, she assisted on many celebrity and luxury lifestyle accounts such as Ray-Ban and MAC Cosmetics, and supported events such as the Grammy Awards Show in New York City and the White House Correspondents' Dinner in Washington, D.C.

Kathleen graduated from Fordham University, where she studied communications/media studies and English. She enjoys volunteering at Astor Center, New York City’s premier destination for culinary and cocktail education.

Jennifer Garcia

As manager, finance and operations for CooperKatz, Jennifer Garcia supports the accounting and human resources functions. She also provides assistance to all client account teams, helping to ensure smooth operations across the entire agency.

Prior to joining CooperKatz, Jennifer worked as the bookkeeper/office coordinator for public relations firm Vorhaus & Company, Inc. There she assisted the senior vice president of finance and operations with client billing, vendor relationships and financial reporting, in addition to handling a wide range of operational issues. During her two years with the company, she also coordinated a gallery opening and helped organize an event for Do Something, a non-profit organization.

Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science, with a minor in business. She graduated summa cum laude from St. John's University.

Jason Wallace

Since joining CooperKatz in October of 2000, Jason Wallace has leveraged his conceptual and visual design talents to support a broad range of client accounts and needs across the firm's three main service areas: public relations, creative services/productions and Cogence®, the firm's social media practice.

Jason has over 12 years of experience in the creative, technical and business aspects of graphic design, new/social media, video and special events production. As Director of Creative Services, he oversees the work of the agency's creative services team and leads the design/production of logos, advertising campaigns, collateral materials, presentations, meetings, events and videos for a wide range of clients including Polar, Virgin Mobile, Dial America, Carrier, Jackson Hewitt, Amway, The National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) and the Association of National Advertisers (ANA).

Prior to joining CooperKatz, Jason worked for two engineering firms, where his responsibilities included designing logos, print advertisements, publications and product service manuals.

He attended Indiana University in Bloomington, where he received a B.A. in Fine Arts, with a concentration in painting, and a B.A. in Art History.

As chief financial officer, Dorothy Sonnenburg oversees all financial, human resource and office administrative functions at CooperKatz. She has been leading the organization's operational transformation since joining the firm in 2003. During her tenure, she has developed systems that enable CooperKatz to serve clients more efficiently, track budgets precisely and report transparently.

Prior to becoming a member of the CooperKatz team, Dorothy was a manager in Accenture's management consulting practice, where she led clients through all aspects of the system implementation project lifecycle. During her five-year tenure, she advised several Fortune 500 companies in both Europe and North America.

She holds a bachelor's degree in economics-operations research from Columbia University in New York City.

Anne Green brings nearly 20 years of experience in the public relations field to her role as president and chief executive officer of CooperKatz & Company, Inc. Across her career, she has supported a wide range of clients across multiple industry sectors including technology, telecommunications, industrial products, education, healthcare, consumer goods, financial services, transportation and trade associations.

As president / CEO, Anne is responsible for the agency’s overall operations and allocation of resources. She deeply appreciates the opportunity to stay ‘hands on’ with clients, and provides strategic leadership for the integrated account teams supporting: Coldwell Banker Real Estate LLC; management consulting firm, Gap International; non-profit organization, The Physicians Foundation; Sarah Lawrence College; and global strategic branding firm, Siegel+Gale. She also heads the agency’s Digital practice, devoted to helping clients develop and execute effective social media and digital strategies, and develops and conducts customized marketing communications and media training sessions.

Highlights of her work at CooperKatz include launching Virgin Mobile in the United States and leading its communications efforts for more than six years; helping industry analyst firm, TowerGroup, become a market leader in the financial services industry in an eight-plus year client relationship; supporting internal and external communications for The Association of National Advertisers (ANA); taking a lead role in the award-winning launch of the Metropolitan Transportation Authority’s (MTA) MetroCard Gold; and driving business-to-business and consumer communications for technology companies serving a number of different industry sectors (including automotive, financial services, home furnishings and biotech / pharmaceutical). She began her career with Burson-Marsteller, where she executed consumer marketing and business-to-business communications programs for GE Appliances and several DuPont industrial business units.

Anne is often asked to speak on topics related to the intersections of the digital landscape and public relations. In 2010, she was named to PR Week’s annual list of "40 Under 40" rising stars in communications. She holds a bachelors degree from Vassar College and a M.Phil. (ABD) in American Literature from New York University, where she serves as a guest lecturer in the School of Continuing & Professional Studies.

Blending a creative marketing flair with strong systems and financial management, Ralph Katz has tackled some of the most complex projects and programs ever conceived for corporate America.

Career highlights include leadership of the worldwide announcement of NYNEX’s single brand strategy; creative direction of multiple special events to celebrate the Bicentennial of the New York Stock Exchange; management of the FedEx-sponsored Laser and Light show in downtown Calgary for the 1988 Winter Olympics; and creative leadership of an award-winning multi-city Olympic touring exhibit for BellSouth.

For the majority of his eighteen years with Burson-Marsteller, Ralph headed the firm’s highly regarded Creative Services unit, which produced meetings, events, films, videos, printed materials and presentations for clients such as Amoco, Asea Brown Bovari, Chemical Bank, Digital Equipment, DuPont, Mercedes Benz, MetLife, The US Postal Service and Wendy’s. Prior to joining Burson-Marsteller, he spent five years as a media planner and supervisor for Ted Bates Advertising.

At CooperKatz Ralph has led the firm’s comprehensive communications assignments for Amway, Dole® 100% Juice, MasterCard International and Sun Microsystems. He has also led the agency’s creative/production work for ACNielsen, the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, Reader’s Digest, Towers Perrin and VNU. Major meetings/events he has produced include Discovery Networks’ Upfront advertiser presentations, the Association of National Advertisers’ annual conferences, the re-launch of the Coca-Cola Company’s Powerade brand and the 100th Anniversary of the invention of air conditioning for Carrier Corporation.

Career highlights include producing product introductions and sales campaigns for MetLife; launching the Answer Center and pioneering the use of infomercials for GE; managing the AT&T Olympic Torch Relay; and leading the U.S. Treasury's global introduction of the new $100 bill.

Prior to founding CooperKatz, he spent 21 years with Burson-Marsteller and held numerous senior management positions, including account group manager, director of creative services, president of the New York office and vice chairman of the company.

In 1996, along with college friend and Burson-Marsteller colleague Ralph Katz, he co-founded CooperKatz. Building on their diverse public relations experiences, CooperKatz quickly developed a strong, loyal client base across these sectors: healthcare, technology, consumer products, financial services, professional services, business-to-business, government, transportation and non-profit organizations. As an account supervisor at CooperKatz, Katy Hendricks serves as a key account team member for Coldwell Banker Real Estate LLC and Petfinder.com. She has also recently worked with the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) to celebrate and promote the 60th anniversary of its mascot, Sparky the Fire Dog®, as well as Kroll Bond Ratings Agency, Inc., a Nationally Recognized Statistical Rating Organization to help kick-off its PR program in 2011. For every client endeavor, Katy combines a passion for creative thinking with a strategic approach to her clients’ businesses to ensure solid results.

Since joining the agency in 2007, Katy has supported numerous communications initiatives for CooperKatz clients. She helps to plan and drive ongoing media relations / outreach for all her accounts and is noted for brainstorming fresh angles and approaches to meet client objectives. For two years, she worked to build the leadership profile of the Noblis Health Innovation by fostering media relationships, developing targeted advertorial campaigns and securing multiple thought-leadership byline articles and conference speaking opportunities. She also played a significant role in ramping up the public relations campaign for HowStuffWorks.com, a subsidiary of Discovery Communications Digital Media group, and Garanimals, the iconic children’s clothing and toy brand known for its mix and match philosophy.
